American Samoa Office of Procurement joins NASPO

THE OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT JOINS NASPO (NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STATE PROCUREMENT OFFICIALS)

PAGO PAGO, AMERICAN SAMOA – September 08, 2025 – The American Samoa Office of Procurement is proud to announce that it has officially activated its membership with the National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO), effective August 19, 2025.  With this milestone, American Samoa becomes the final U.S. Territory to join the NASPO community, uniting all states and territories under a single professional procurement network.

NASPO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit association dedicated to advancing public procurement through leadership, excellence, and integrity.  Membership provides access to professional development resources, networking opportunities, and the latest insights into trends and issues shaping the procurement profession.  NASPO also supports members annually through funding for professional development, technology modernization, and cooperative contract outreach.

American Samoa is honored to become part of this national community of procurement professionals.  Our membership will strengthen our ability to adopt best practices, enhance procurement efficiency and deliver exceptional service to our government and community.

The American Samoa Office of Procurement will be represented at the NASPO Annual Conference, scheduled for September 28 – October 1, 2025 in Chicago, Illinois, where members will convene to share knowledge, explore innovative solutions, and further professional growth.
