AMERICAN SAMOA GOVERNMENT LAUNCHES NEW PROCUREMENT WEBSITE TO ENHANCE PUBLIC ACCESS TO INFORMATION

PAGO PAGO, AMERICAN SAMOA – September 3, 2025 – The American Samoa Government today announced the official launch of the Office of Procurement’s new website, designed to provide residents with improved access to procurement information and public announcements.

The new website, accessible at procurement.as.gov, serves as a central hub for all procurement-related activities and represents a significant step forward in the government’s commitment to transparency and public engagement.

The website features sections dedicated to current bid opportunities, awarded contracts, procurement regulations, and important announcements. Users can also find contact information for key procurement personnel and answers to frequently asked questions.

The development of the website aligns with the government’s broader digital transformation initiative aimed at making government services more accessible to all residents of American Samoa.

The Office of Procurement will regularly update the website with new bid opportunities, contract awards, and other important announcements. The site also includes resources for vendors interested in doing business with the American Samoa Government.

The website launch follows months of development and testing to ensure it meets the needs of both government officials and the public. The Office of Procurement staff received specialized training to maintain and update the site with current information.

Residents are encouraged to visit procurement.as.gov to explore the new features and provide feedback through the contact form available on the site.
