Susana Tau began her career with the Office of Procurement in 1988 as a Purchasing Administrative Assistant. She was promoted to Purchasing Manager in 2010, where she directed purchasing operations and managed vendor relations. In 2021, she advanced to Acquisitions Division Head, overseeing contract management, strategic sourcing, and major acquisition initiatives.

With more than three decades of dedicated service, she is widely respected for her knowledge, leadership, and willingness to share her experience with others. Now serving as Deputy Director of Operations, she manages the Contracts, Purchasing, and Receiving Divisions and plays an instrumental role in guiding procurement planning and policy implementation. In addition to her leadership responsibilities, she also serves as a trusted mentor, supporting colleagues and helping guide the next generation of procurement officials.
